Joel T.Minneapolis, MN016Nov 15, 2021The Buckingham Inn is the cutest, homiest, warmest, most inviting, and excellent place to stay in all of Madison, if you ask me. Especially if you're going to a game at Camp Randall Stadium. They have thought of EVERYTHING down to the last detail, even having your name on a list with the State Police to allow you access to the parking lot.
The proprietors communicate well, give great advice of where to eat, and provide an amazing and delicious spread for breakfast!
We were in the Varsity Suite over the weekend and it was truly like coming home. But to a home with a jacuzzi tub and four-headed shower.
We already said that when we come back to Madison, this is where we are going to stay. Thank you for sharing your wonderful B&B!

Thanks for the review and all of your kind comments, Joel! We strive to exceed expectations and are glad you had such an excellent stay at The Buckingham Inn. Yes, since our street is closed to public vehicle travel during UW Badger home football games, we arrange for our guests to be able to come and go from our parking lot as they need. We're happy you liked the breakfasts so well and that you found great restaurants for dinner. It's great you enjoyed the jetted tub and multi-head shower, features we've added to each of our guest room baths. We hope to host you again!

We needed a place within a reasonable distance to Verona, provided space and was comfortable after a long day of classes and walking. We found this at The Buckingham Inn. It is warm, clean (meticulous attention to detail in friendly way), and surprising. We stayed in the Varsity Suite with the sunroom and AMAZING bathroom! Every thought into making our stay pleasant was apparent through the bound book that fully explained how to use the rooms, air-jet tub, TV, fireplace, etc. This is the first time we saw this and love the idea. Very classy verses the laminated sheet. The remotes for all devices were clearly marked and between this and the book it minimized the questions tremendously. Breakfast was a healthy delight and we bypassed Epic's each morning to enjoy it. This is saying a lot since Epic has a full culinary staff that is excellent. I think what touched me the most is how Tom and Heidi stay true to their core values of making it feel like home and their commitment to the community. All snacks, wine, soap, etc. came from local merchants. Or, at least the ones we noticed. Cozy, warm, welcoming, and thoughtful are the words that explain The Buckingham Inn. Thank you Heidi and Tom for this great experience.

Tony B.Tempe, AZ04013Jun 19, 2019The Buckingham Inn is a true treasure! My wife and I had the good fortune to chose it for a one night stay while traveling through Madison and we hit the jackpot!
The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was huge with a premium shower and separate, jetted tub. Complimentary beverages (including wine) and snacks are provided. The common areas are just like home and the owners are friendly and welcoming.
If that weren't enough, the location is across the street from the football stadium and many restaurants are nearby. Finally, the gourmet breakfast was incredible!

The owners were very helpful and made a delicious breakfast both mornings. The suite was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was huge with a fantastic tub and shower. we plan on returning sooner than later
