Holiday Acres is a Classic Northwoods Resort offering cottages, guest rooms and vacation homes, plus year round recreation and relaxation. The Three Coins Restaurant and the Gallery meeting and banquet facility are open to the public and offer award winning meals and professional staffing that make a conference, retreat, wedding or group gathering at Holiday Acres especially enjoyable. The large indoor pool is a four season attraction for kids of all ages! Holiday Acres Resort is situated on 6000 feet of wooded shoreline on Lake Thompson and has a gradual sandy beach. Swimming, fishing, boating and other water sports are offered. The grounds encompass over a thousand acres of beautiful native forest ideal for hiking or nature walks or snowmobiling and cross country skiing. Two tennis courts, shuffleboard, a basketball court, putting green and a children's playground will keep everyone entertained. In the summer months, a schedule of special daily activities are offered to guests. Holiday Stables offers trail rides through the forest and fields surrounding the resort.
